Though I can't post in the hidden parents area, I can answer from my experience. I had jump the very first thing my 3 dig summer. My mom came out and was with me at the airfield every day we jumped. She was intermingled with us cadets and some other parents on the flight line and was close enough to get pictures of me even EXITING the plane before pulling and after including pictures of me landing and coming back. In short, you can get VERY close and are welcome to take pictures. You will know when your cadet is going up and what order they are in (also helps that you will know what color the parachute is too). They've done this a few times!
