Default Muscle Supplements?

I got my appointment in January and was working on getting in shape and strong. What is the policy for taking some supplements like protein, creatine, and pro-hormones. All are legally bought at stores like GNC, but could I get in trouble for using them when I report in June?

Thanks

During BCT I do not think these will be allowed but after that, you should be able to use them. My son does Power Lifting or did back in his 1st year, and we used to send him all those suppliments during the times he was lifting.

I believe pojack is right, I know a lot of cadets use various supplements (as long as you are not an IC, you don't have to worry about NCAA rules). You just can't use them during basic

But, if you are like my son, who weighed in at 201, you qualify for Boost, as you are susecptible to rapid weight loss. He didn't drink the Boost and did lose 27 pounds.

This is true also....Jeremy did lose some pounds in BCT and they put him on Ensure for a few weeks. Don't know if he really drank it or not but he mentioned he had a case of it in his room.

First you should just worry about getting your training, sleep, and nutrition dialed in. They will give you far greater returns on your investment compared to nutritional supplements. Good food and sleep are more anabolic than just about anything (except for steroids).

Has anyone ever failed a drug test because a legal pro-hormone or test-booster showed a positive for steriods? I have heard it can and that it can't. Does anyone know anything about this?
