Hello,
Anyone out there that fits within this catagory. Our son is Joshua Hall. His summer squadron is the "Hellcats". His squad for the Academic year is 30 "Knights" We are from Alabama. We can't wait to meet some of the other parents at PW. We just wanted to say hello. Raymond & Connie Last edited by Eaglescout; 06-27-2009 at 11:15 PM. Reason: adding photo |

My son is Chad Moore...he will be in the same Squad with your son. We have a home in Pagosa Springs, CO...but, my husband's company relocated everyone to La Crosse, WI...just got home yesterday...we have another son that is 15, but the house is awful quiet. I don't quite get this forum yet, but I hope to stay in touch with other families that could have potential roommates.

Tracy,
Very nice to know you. My family is from Pinson, Alabama. It is in the country, about 20 miles north of Birmingham, AL. We have one other child. My daughter is going to be a junior next year in high school. She just left today for church camp so my house is unusually quiet. I guess I'm just used to having activity going on around here. Is your son going to come with you to the parent weekend? Our daughter will be going to Colorado Springs with us to see her big brother. I really think she is beginning to miss him. I knew they must care for one another. I missed your Private Message earlier. I will try to check those messages more often. Do you know what Academic Squad your son will be in when school starts? My son will be a "Knight - CS-30" I'm learning as I go. We just found this out yesterday. I'm glad you made a post to this thread. I will keep checking back to see what is happening here. ![]()

I'm not sure if I've already written this info to you or not...HA! I just reply to messages, until I get the hang of this! We will be Knights in the Fall too. And yes, Tyler (15 "almost" 16) will go with us to Parent's Weekend. We have lived in several states, moving every 3 or 4 years...I finally decided to Home School them when we were living in NY. The boys are very close and it was a long ride home to Wisconsin. We have a house in Pagosa Springs, CO - hope to retire there some day...mountain views, several acres...peace...so I will be traveling a lot this year...I'm planning to go down for the acceptance on the 5th of August. If you would like to contact me on my e-mail...I can send you some btctmoore@juno.com photos and you can give me more info about your son (maybe I can take a photo of him that day). I don't like writing too much in here, because I'm still not sure if it's going out to everyone or not! I'm sorry your house is quiet...feels like the day you sent the last one off to Kindergarten...they grow up too fast! I can't stand to go into his perfectly cleaned up room...too quiet and not messy enough!

Tracey,
I would love to get some photos of our son on Acceptance Day. Unfortunately, we can not attend, but will be there on Parent's Weekend. I will email you. Also, our email is raymondhall@bellsouth.net I'm sure we will have much in common since our sons are in the same summer squadron and also the same squadron during the academic year. |

That is great you guys hooked up re: photos!
My son is in a different squad after Basic is over, but I hope he gets to know your great kids during this Basic Training. I will be going to A Day too. I am really looking forward to it.

Hi! I am super new to this forum as well as USAFA. My son Blake is a Hellcat. That's about all I know. I did e-mail the "mom" to send info for the academic year. What does the "B" (CS30) stand for?
I look forward to communicating with you! |
