Exclamation Blue Sashes & Dots on ID on Webguy

Two Quick questions..... Does anyone know what the blue sashes some basic cadets are wearing in webguy photos.......Also, what are the little colored dots that appear to be on some of the basic cadets ID worn around their necks. Some are Red, some white, etc. Does anyone have a clue.

The blue sash is a reflective belt. If they are wearing across them (and not everyone wearing it around the waist) then it indicates they are on a form 18 (medical form) for illness or injury.

Not sure on the colored dots, could you link to an example?

Look at image 21 at this link:

There are blue dots on two cadets. Sometimes I've even seen a red dot and a white dot on the plastic ID tag. I was just curious about what they are.

Thanks for explaining the Blue sashes being worn across the shoulder to waste. That makes sense, because some of those wearing those are also wearing tennis shoes and not boots.

Thanks again.

Hum, access denied. I don't have webguy.

One of the MOST common problems are misfitting boots. Too small is especially bad - compresses the feet and causes lots of problems. Mine were too large in my BCT. If it wasn't for the fact that our feet go completely numb after a few days (and stay numb till about October), the blisters that I had wrapped every other day on my big toes probably would have hurt! lol

We saw our son in about 20pics yesterday wearing the blue sash. He surprisingly called this morning (had two minutes) so we asked him about it. We were worried he was hurt. As it turns out, he was just a road guard yesterday.
