The funny thing is after my son left for USAFA, I googled USAFA just to see what I could learn. I pulled up cnet and low and behold, here is my son (he's third from the right between the two young women) and I now have a front row view of his first experience at USAFA. It was surreal! I joked and told him no film was looked over this much since the Zapruder film. No grassy knoll, just foot prints and Cadre up in their kitchen.

Helpful hints: pull your shoulders back, don't flinch, just think...listen for them to talk to you, figure out what they're asking, remember the answer, reply confidently and correctly. It's all a show. Don't let the audience know you're nervous! The cadre didn't pick on the basics in the proper position and still like statues.

When I first saw this picture I thought Wow, how intimidating it must be to get off the bus and face all of these cadets staring at them. And then looking at it again I realized that Bryan is one of those they are staring at (he is in the pinkish color shirt)! How scary!
