Well that is not all true, I did create that other blog called USAFA Community. But that does not count! That will be more of a site informational blog. This will be a real blog. WoW Cool. Ok lets start.
Well, about the title of my Blog "For Every Adversity is an Adventure" That was by far my Mama's favorite saying. She would save it for the real adversities like the camper trailer jackknifing into a ditch or my sister at age 9 having blood poisoning from stepping on a rusty nail. Those were the kin... well, you know what I mean.
So She would Say when we were hanging or head lows because of an adversity "remember, every adversity is an adventure!" with a huge smile on her face. We would just roll our eyes. But we knew it was time to look for the bright side.
The subtitle of my Blog is "life of and empty Nester". They kinda relate? Don't you think?
My thinking is that I am beginning a new adventure with my youngest son going off to college in a few days and now I have taken on this website, along with other plans I have for the future. Should be interesting. Anyway. I hope you will subscribe to my blog and leave comments. I would love for you to follow along in my new adventure.
Below you should see a place to leave comments and a place to subscribe.
Let me know when you create your blog! I would love to read it.
So long for now. (Yeah, I did my very first post!!)

I agree - great looking boys. I know the feelings out there on that field. I am so proud of all these kids.
I posted a couple of pictures from Acceptance Day 2012. One of them is my son, then there are couple of some classmates.
Thanks Lark - you have done an awesome job with this project. I look forward (with a little trepidation) to being an empty nester in about 5 years! Keep us up to date!Posted 08-21-2008 at 06:18 PM by cbplus4
