The only time better than Christmas for me is, VACATION!!! We plan all year to get away for a few weeks, away from the day to day drudgery and aggravation of the daily tasks, to be free of encumberances, to worry about nothing, no telephone, fresh air ....ahhhhhh! We decided this year, to try to get away early, about 6AM because we didn;t have to roust the kids out of bed as in previous years, they were gone away to USAFA and college! The term "history repeats itself", is a good one for sure, because it does. Jeremy and Jonathan are both home now but the memory of BCT last year, still echoes here at home. All of the new parents are suffering from the same anxieties that we did back then and it is interesting that the same feelings are permeating the folks posting here at the site. Home is the jumper, home from the sky!!

Finally, Jeremy is home for 3 weeks and as I write this, he is crashed in bed!! He was beat after Jump and GE! So much to do and so little time. It is always a good time when my sons are home and we are all together. Empty nesting is not all it is cracked up to be and when the finally, sadly leave, the house becomes a "ghost house" and quiet reigns supreme.

It doesn't seem to be 2 months since my last blog but I guess it is. Time is still flying by and now Jeremy is a C3C, WOW! It impresses even myself. He chose to do jump over this summer as one of his things and I really thought he wouldn't go through with it. He said, just before the school started, that he was a bit nervous but he knew that he could do it. That is when I asked the real question, "Why would you jump out of a perfectly good airplane?" I notice with fear and trepidation, that April is almost gone, and then May and then......SUMMERTIME!! Is it that close? We are about to become C3C parents! It seems that the time simply disappeared. I can remember fully, like it was yesterday, when Jeremy first left home to go for In processing! We didn't know anything but what we had learned from the orientation and what we gleaned form various agencies and bulletinn boards. (pssssst! we still don't know much...LOL)!
