Default [Solved!] New Posts Button ?

Did the "new posts" button that used to be along the top go away ? I see there is something under quick links titled "todays posts" but when I try to access that I get an error.

Question New Posts

I also noticed that. When I click on Quick Links/New Posts, I get "You do not have permission to access this page." I was wondering if there was a revision here or is it a "quirk"?

I'm ALSO missing the tab that said, "New posts"!! I was going to ask that very same question! This forum is so very big and has so many different sections, that it really was the only way I could get a quick glimpse of the latest posts without having to search all the topics.

Please put the "New Posts" tab back!

Thanks!!

Question also missing "new posts"

Same problem for me...I'm missing the "new posts" tab which I find the easiet and best way to check the newest posts..please bring it back....for me the "recent posts" along the side isn't the best format for reading and when I go to "todays posts" I also get the message that I don't have permission to access that page???
Thanks for the attention,

Can you guys check again and let me know? I have a feeling that when ever I am making changes in site Admin Control Panel (which I have been doing during this time) this may happen. I just logged out and see New Post and when I log in as a parent I can see New post and "Today Post". Please let me know if it is OK now. Sorry for the trouble. Thanks

I still don't see it and the "todays posts" under the quick links dropdown throws an error...... I tried logging out signing back in but that was acting quirky as well. There is some indication that I logged out but other pages say that I'm still logged in.......

Default Clear Temporary files and Cookies please

Hi,

I have tried on all computers and all different ways of logging in and I can not simulate what you are seeing. I think becuase you were logged in while I was making changes in ADMN. you will need to clear you temporary files and cookies.

To Do this please go to "tools" on the menu bar on top of your Browser menu and chose "internet Options"

Under "Browser History" click Delete.

Please choose to delete "temporary Files" And "Cookies"

This is PC instruction. Let me know if you need Mac instruction

Please report back and let me know if this works.

Also if there is any other registered users that have logged in after 10 am having this problem as well, please let me know in this thread.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience .

By the way I am using two different browsers to check things - IE and Google Chrome

Clearing cookies solved the logout problem when using Chrome. You can specify what gets cleared - ie clear cookies only. With IE I think its all or nothing and I want to keep my stored passwords.

Here is the error.......

AUSAFADAD, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

You should be able to clear just temporary files and cookies w/out selecting passwords. That is what I see when I click on that delete button under borwser history. I have IE 7 but should be same in IE 6. It will take you to another page and give you about 5 option. Just seclect temp files and cookies and do not select password. I hope that works.

Are you seeing New Post now?

Thanks for looking into this,

It's odd because when the handful of people reported the new posts link wasn't there for them, it was there for me. It's been there all day. Also the recent posts on the right of the page have been there all day.

The only problem I've had today was when I clicked on Fund Raisers and I got an error message that the page wasn't available. But shortly thereafter, it was available.

I do get the message that I'm not authorized to respond/enter a thread if I forget to sign in - but that's my bad.
