New Social Group - 2014 Candidates/appointees

kaleb283 has created a new social group called "2014 Candidates/appointees", with the following description:

Didn't see a group for those of us who are 2014 candidates, so I thought it would be convenient to make one. I also thought it would be nice if we also had a few appointees in there to answer some questions about their app process as well.

To join this group visit the social groups homepage where this new group will be listed.

Thank you so much for creating the group for the candidates. Can you invite all the candidates you see on the site? you can find most in the Candidate intro forum. Just click Manage invites on your social groups home page.

Way to go Kaleb That's a group that's needed I'll post about in my parents group so that they can let their C/C's know.

As far as I can tell, I have made it so that anyone can join. I clicked on the groups tab, but did not see the "Manage invites" link.

Hey Kaleb,

Im sorry it is actually called " Pending Members and invites" It is found on the home page of you group and not the home page of all social groups. I copied the direct link I will paste here. http://www.usafacommunity.com/forum/...age&groupid=44

try that. But also try and find t his link on your home page.

Btw the candidate Parents already have a private group they created. You are welcome to keep you group open to public or change to invite only for the future class of 2014 to have their own group to get to know each other as a group. YOu can edit group by going to the edit group link. Also found at the bottom of your groups home page.

Let me know if you do not see these options and I will check the setting for your usergroup so you do. Thanks Lark

Candidates check you notifciation to see if you have and invite to this group




Here are instruction on how to accept invite and join the group. Thanks to Eileen

• clicking "your notification" in the welcome window on top of every page
• go down to social group invitations and click on it
• click on the 2014 Parent group
• SCROLL DOWN
• click on the 'join group' link just below the bottom of the threads.

Once you are a member it's easy to get back to the group

1. Log in to the usafacmmunity.com site (should No have to do this if you chose "remember Me" box when logging in.)
2. Click on the blue tab towards the top of the page that says GROUPS
3. then click on Social Groups
4. click on our group
